St Elizabeth's Hospice benefits from Sportsman's Dinner

Donation made following successful Sportsman's Dinner

"Following an Auction of Memorabilia at the FWUFC Sportsman’s Dinner on the 30th June, an excellent amount was raised in Memory of Club Stalwarts Ray Stanbridge and Ron Churchyard, who both passed away towards the end of 2022. These two long standing friends spent time together in St. Elizabeth Hospice and their wives ( pictured) requested the donation be made to the Hospice. Margaret Stanbridge and Jan Churchyard ( nearest camera)
met up with Club President Dave Ashford recently for afternoon tea at the Orwell Hotel, when they handed the cheque over for delivery to the Hospice Head Office in Ipswich.
The Ladies would like to thank Colin Wedge and Gareth Thomas for their generosity in jointly purchasing the items."
