Felixstowe & Walton United to host Ipswich Town on 1st July. 

The Seasiders are delighted to announce a pre-season fixture against Ipswich Town on Saturday 1st July at the AGL Arena.

The newly promoted Championship Tractor Boys will be sending a full First Team squad. The match (1pm KO) will feature 2 x 30 minute periods, followed by a penalty competition to provide extra entertainment for supporters.  

TICKET NEWS-

This match will be 'All Ticket' with a capacity of 2,100. 

Adults £10, Concessions (16-17yrs and 65+) £6, U16 (must be accompanied) £2.

A priority sales period will be in place for F&WUFC Season Ticket holders, members, players and sponsors to secure tickets in person at the football club office. Remaining tickets will go on general sale (online only). IMPORTANT- Full details of the selling periods will be released tomorrow (Wednesday at 5pm). Please do not contact the club prior to this time as we are unable to respond to individual requests for information.

I first put the proposal to the club in February and within 24 hours they were fully committed to repeating the success of their pre-season opener at Needham Market last year, this time at Felixstowe. We have a great relationship with Ipswich Town, especially so due to hosting Ipswich Town Women's matches for the past 9 seasons, and the match on 1st July will not only be a great occasion and showcase for Felixstowe & Walton United, but also a welcome financial boost and a reward for the tireless work of everyone behind the scenes at our club. The fantastic upturn in fortunes for the Tractor Boys is great for all Suffolk football fans, and this fixture is sure to be a big attraction for their first appearance on the pitch since promotion to the Championship".
