MAYHEW CHECKS IN AT THE SEASIDE
JOSH MAYHEW JOINS THE SEASIDERS
Seasiders boss Stuart Boardley has completed the signing of striker Josh Mayhew from AFC Sudbury. Mayhew joined the Yellows last summer and scored 10 goals during their promotion winning season following a move from Stowmarket Town. His time at Greens Meadow coincided with a regular push for promotion and eventual rise to step 4 football, his prolific goalscoring a key part in that success, with an incredible record of 136 goals in just 173 appearances.
Stuart Boardley. "I am pleased to have Josh on board, he is a player that we have admired for many years, have spoken to on several occasions, but have not been able to get a deal over the line so I'm delighted to finally get his signature as I think we've been missing an out and out goal scorer in the group, Josh will certainly give us that".
Josh Mayhew. "I'm delighted to finally sign for the club. I'm excited by the ambition and squad that Boards has put together and I wanted to be a part of that. Hopefully I can come in, score goals and contribute towards us being successful this season".
